A dog is walking down the street when he sees a bone（骨） in a trash（无价值之物） can（罐头）. "A bone! Yippee! How lucky（幸运的） for me!" he thinks. He grabs（攫取） the bone（骨） and happily（快乐地） runs home. He runs past the train station and the school.

  He runs through the park. He runs onto（到…上） a bridge（桥）. On the bridge, the dog looks down into the deep（深的）, still water（使湿） below. There, he sees another dog with a bone in its mouth. "Who is that dog?" he wonders（想知道）. "What is he doing down there?" The dog stares（ 盯着看） at the other dog.
