One night, Lion is getting ready for bed. He reads his favourite bedtime story and sings his favourite bedtime song. He turns on his nightlight. Then, he hears a sound. "Tap（轻叩）, tap（轻叩）." "What's that sound?" he whispers（低声地讲）.

  "Tap, tap." "That sound, it's coming from outside（在外面(的)） the window." He climbs out of bed. He grabs（攫取） a baseball（棒球） bat（球拍） and tiptoes towards the window. "Tapdi-tap, tap." "It's a monster（怪物）!"

  he thinks. He grabs his bicycle helmet（头盔） and puts it on his head for protection（保护）. He hears the sound again.
