Hello, I'm Anna Jones and you're listening to Weekender and this week we're talking about handwriting. Just how much can you tell about a person's personality个性 just by looking at how they write? And why do some people prefer to write with a pencil rather宁可 than with a pen? Well, to answer these questions we're joined in today's programme by handwriting expert专家 Adam Brand and poet Kate Bingham. Have a listen now to Adam who's describing the personality个性 of someone who's writing slants or slopes to the left.
What are the words he uses to describe the personality个性 of a person whose writing leans to the left? When you have left-slant writing and close word spacing, what you've got is somebody who values their privacy隐私 yet has adapted to ease缓和 and social社会的 relationships. The other thing is the margins页边的空白, the left margin页边的空白 is quite wide so somebody very hides standards at the same time slightly轻微地 reserved again. But the right margin页边的空白 is very straight and that's a sign of self-control自己.
