Not being able to speak a foreign language is a bit of a British trait特性 or a particular British characteristic特征. We're not very good at it, although Finn is an exception除外.
He can speak many foreign languages, can't you? Well, not that那么〔大、多等〕〔尤指通过手势比画来表示大小、数量等〕 many. A bit of German, some French, Polish a little, Chinese of course, Hokkien, a bit of Japanese.
