Now look at these sentences. If you don't do your homework, you can't watch the film. Unless you do your homework, you can't watch the film. Both of these sentences have the same meaning意义. But notice注意 that the verb动词 after 'if' is negative否定的 and the verb动词 after 'unless' is positive积极的. Bye!
